Wear it Wednesdays! Alice: Madness Returns

Hey there lovelies!

I am loving these Wear it Wednesdays and can't wait to try some of these myself! Now I work in an office so it's a bit hard for me sometime but I think I can pull this one off this Friday with a few minor tweaks.

This look comes from Alice: Madness Returns when Alice is running around London.

I really do love this look and have almost all the pieces to try this out!

Alice: Madness Returns!

Hello Lovelies!

So sorry about posting this late but here it is!

So I have just recently started playing on the xbox more and have recently gotten some new games! The favorite one is Alice: Madness Returns

To sum this game up it's basically Alice's family all died in a home fire and she has gone pretty crazy, in an attempt to forget all of this madness she goes to this Doctor and crazy lady to get pills and therapy. Then she has a very trippy experience and winds back up in wonderland. But this is not like her previous wonderland, this one is dark and twisted. 

Throughout the game you have to look for memories as you go from each chapter to the next. (this game is very story mode so if you don't like to sit and watch for a bit this might not be the one for you) I've gotten to the second chapter of the game so far and I love all the fun little twists to this game. 

For example, when ever you change to a different area, Alice's outfit changes and these are awesome!!

Look at the bows! (I love bows)

I haven't gotten very far, but I do remember watching a friend of mine play through almost this entire game and that's when I got hooked!

I'm so ready to go through all the levels and see what happens at the end! I've seen a lot of fan art through my Pinterest that's had some spoilers in it, but it only makes me want to finish the game faster!

Pin it or Bust!

Hello my lovelies!!!!

So I want to start this new segment called Pin it or Bust! and if you follow me on Pinterest then you will know how much I looooooooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee that site. I love finding new DIYs and trying them out, so I've decided that through out the week you all can send me a pin through email or on any of my social media sites and I will test it! Wear it Wednesdays! Harry Potter!

Hello Lovelies!

Sick?! RenFest 2014?!?! Wear it Wednesdays?!?!?!

Hello, Hello my Lovelies!

So first things first, I'm so sorry for being gone and unfortunately not being able to post but I have been sick lately which had weakened me and made me sleep ALOT!

But I am back and ready to tackle my blog once again! 

Second, Ren Fest 2014 is fast approaching! And I'm soooooo excited! Me, the boyfriend, and some friends decided that we are going to the All Hallows Eve Day this year which means costumes!!!! 

I'm so freaking ecstatic because this is the one time that my boyfriend agreed to Cosplay with me! For the past few months I've been trying to come up with a few ideas of who we could Cosplay. Now, I thought that he would be an absolute wonderful Thor! So my brilliant idea was for him to be Thor and I could do a genderbent Loki. Because ..........

1. I really want to fabricate those horns and staff  :D

2. The costume would look amazing!

and 3. Why the heck not!

BUTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!

He had to ruin my amazing plan and say "Wait, wouldn't that make us siblings?" 

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

So now me and him are at a crossroads. Anyone think of anything we could do?

At the moment my next brilliant plan is to maybe him still be Thor and maybe I would do the new female Thor Marvels coming out with??? I don't know. Maybe? ..... Confusion!

Lastly, I want to talk about Wear it Wednesdays! Now I love clothes, a lot lol and I don't really have a set schedule of certain days I post or a specific subject until now! Wednesdays will now officially be dedicated to geeky fashion. I'm hoping to do a lot of of Disney Bounding outfits and everyday Cosplay. Even if I can't wear them myself I still want to find different outfits that will maybe give you all a little inspiration.

Harry Potter Makeup Wand Tutorial!

Hey there Lovelies!

So today I wanted to post a fun tutorial that I thought you all would enjoy! So here it is the Harry Potter Makeup wand Tutorial!

Things you will need:

Makeup Brushes

LOTS of Hot glue and a hot glue gun

Beads 

Paint

Paint sponge and brushes

Sealing coat

Step 1. Bead and Glue

Choose a bead that is slightly bigger than the end of the brush. 

Glue it to the end and once dry glue around the bead and brush to keep it in place.

Step 2. Start Designing 

Now you get started designing!

I like to do a bunch of vines or swirls on mine!

Here's a few examples of some designs I did.

After I did the main design (swirls and such) I filled in the bare spaces by just placing a dot of glue on the spot and then taking the end of the glue gun and dragging it all over to give it that wood texture!

Here's a close up of one of my textured wands with the vines.

3. Paint your base wood color.

(I forgot to take a picture at this point D: )

When your painting hot glue it will need a couple of coats, so paint your first coat and chill out and watch some Netflix or something while you wait for it to dry.

I started a little HP marathon of course :D

4. Add some detail.

After I decided I had enough layers for the base I moved on to adding detail. I took a darker brown color, and ran that over top of the ridges very very lightly. I actually didn't use a paint sponge or brush for this. I either used my finger with a very, VERY light amount or I used a skewer that I had cut a slant into so it lied flat against the ridges.   

5. Seal it

Now in the picture I had an Outdoor Glossy sealer by Krylon . I do however prefer to do this with a matte sealer, the glossy one was just what I had at the time. 

Step 6. Your done!

Now that your done you have these adorable little makeup brushes that are totally Harry Potter, Go do something crazy with your face! Transform yourself into one of your favorite wizards! Or just go brag to all your friends on how you have the coolest makeup brushes in town. ;D

Pen Pals???

Hey Lovelies!
So I found this absolutely awesome site called Geek Girl Pen Pals! Basically it's a site that matches you up with girls around the same age as you that geek about the same thing as you to become pen pals! I thought "Wow this is amazing!" Because I have trouble making friends in this area because not many girls around here geek about the things like I do. So I thought here is the solution to my problems! BUT the next registration for pen pals isn't for a few weeks :( So I thought why not write with some of you guys!

I thought it would be an absolute amazing way to get to know some of you! Especially y'all who live in other countries!
